| Eastmond, Cunningham, Clough and Dixon All Fit for Last League Game |

Keiron Cunningham, Kyle Eastmond, Paul Clough and Andrew Dixon have all been announced fit and ready to play in Saturday's final ever league game at Knowsley Road.
Leon Pryce will face a scan to see whether he can take any part in the Play-Offs and Maurie Fa'asavalu looks set to be fit to play some part as Saints gradually get bodies back for the business end of the season.
Saints need to come within six of Warrington's winning margin (should both sides win) to pip the Wire for second place, and earn a home tie in the Qualifying Play-Off against the same opposition, whilst Cas need to win to guarantee a top eight place ahead of the Crusaders.
The full squads are:
Saints:
Wellens, Gardner, Gidley, Meli, Eastmond, Cunningham, Graham, Puletua, Wilkin, Flannery, Roby, Hargreaves, Moore, Clough, Dean, Dixon, Lomax, Emmitt, Foster.
Castleford:
Dixon, Shenton, Wainwright, Chase, Sargent, Hudson, Huby, Ferres, Snitch, Westerman, Jones, Higgins, Thompson, McGoldrick, Widders, Milner, Walker, Arundel, Clark. |

| Day of the Match - A Crusaders |

Saints achieved the 21 points winning margin that they needed to snatch second place off Warrington with a game to go, but at what cost as injuries to Keiron Cunningham, Kyle Eastmond and Matty Ashurst ruined any post match celebrations that may have took place? Whilst we hope that Arnold’s hip injury does not end up being serious, it looks like the King may well have broken his jaw, and if that’s the case, it’s a tragic end to a wonderful career, one that will take away his chance of ending his career by lifting the Super League Trophy and getting a Grand Final Winners Ring, and such is the influence he has over this team, it may well sound the death knell for the rest of the team’s chances too, especially, if as feared, we have to attack the Play-Offs without both of our star half backs too.

| Day of the Match - H Bradford |

The frightening thing about all this, is that the Saints weren’t actually anywhere near the top of their game. Quite simply, the Bulls put on the worst performance by a visiting side at Knowsley Road in the Super League era as they slipped to their twelfth consecutive defeat. It’s hard to believe that these two clubs were for so long this competition’s greatest two on the field rivals as they divided the trophies up over a ten year period. Even though this is not exactly the best side we have had over those fifteen seasons, the gulf in class between the two sides is now enormous and poor Mick Potter has one hell of a task to restore this club to it’s former glories, because believe you me, if Saints had played as well as they did at Wigan and Warrington, we could have been talking about a century of points here.
